Bed bath and beyond registry

I just mailed out all of my free incentive forms from our registry. There is one brand that I do not qualify for... you need to spend $200 with a certain brand and we only received $150. I wanted to purchase an item off our registry to qualify for the free gift but they are sold out. My question is if I click the purchased button on our registry, will that company know it wasn’t actually purchased?
