Beer Keg Coverup

Amy & Dan, on July 23, 2014 at 11:48 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 3

Hi everyone! I have been looking for ways to make a keg look more classy at my wedding. We are not having a bartender so guests will be serving themselves. I found a really cute idea on Pinterest, but the pin does not link to an actual product page. If possible I would like to rent a wooden barrel kegerator like the one I found. I am attaching a photo so you can see exactly what i'm talking about. Does anyone have any idea on where I could find these? I am looking to rent, but if that isn't possible purchasing might be the only option.

    That's cute.

We had our kegs in the kitchen area and someone pouring the beer, so most people didn't even see them.

Try calling party rental companies? They may have some kind of cabinets you can rent for the kegs. Or you can DIY it and make covers

I think you can save money on making it a DIY project (making it appear to be a wooden barrel keg). I'm sure you can find old wine barrels. They tend to be larger than kegs; so the keg will fit right in. Drill a hole for the tap, and you should be golden. And since you're not renting, you can personalize it however you want.
