Being sick on your wedding day

Cassandra, on October 8, 2018 at 8:17 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 4
I am from and getting married in upstate ny. Which means on my wedding day it can be a high of 90 degrees or snowing. 😂

Either way, I ALWAYS get bronchitis this time of year due to the weather chances. (For example tomorrow will be 85 degrees, Wednesday will be 49 degrees)

what are some tips to help boost your immune system up?

Same here! I'm from and getting married upstate NY as well; so I can totally agree with you on the weather lol. This is why I opted for a summer wedding for a better chance at good weather.
My mom gets bronchitis a lot so I would actually consult with your doctor and see what he/she recommends. I feel like sometimes there's just nothing you can do about it and it'll come when it wants to. So just talk to a professional.

I am a teacher, so I always get at least 2 really nasty colds/sinus infections every year with the season changes. As soon as I start feeling the slightest inkling of getting sick, I take Airbourne, double up my vitamin C, tons of water and tea with honey, and make sure I am getting enough sleep. I have also noticed that getting regular exercise has helped a lot too. Even if it's just 30 minutes cardio 3 times a week, I feel a lot better.

Also, since you get sick every year at this time, it might be worth giving your doctor a call and seeing what they have to suggest to help stave off the infections.

Good luck! I lived in Western New York and just recently moved south, so I know the craziness of mother nature in the 'fall' Smiley laugh

    Date twins!

A packet of EmergenC every morning in some orange juice.

Using Listerine day and night (I know this is weird, but I find it really does help me)

    Tea with honey

FH came down with a raging cold and fever blisters last week. He is never sick, so this is strange. I have been loading him up with vitamins and he seems to be getting over it. I caught it a bit, but it didn't hit me near as hard as it did him. I take allergy meds every day too, so maybe that helped.

Cassandra, keeping my fingers crossed for you that the weather is great and you don't get sick! The drastic changing of temperatures can definitely wack your body out. My three go-to's that I always do in the late fall and winter to stay healthy are drinking tons of water with lemon with the occasional EmergenC packet, staying active and getting enough sleep! I hardly ever get sick (knock on wood) and these things I feel like have to do with that!
