Belly fat???

Phil, on November 27, 2016 at 4:13 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 77

Im so tired of my belly! It just wont go away and it is in every wedding dress that I try on. I dont want to do lipo, but has anyone tried cool sculpting ir lipo captivation (i think that's what its called)? I work out 4x/week, 2 hours/day and the bottom bulge wont budge. If you have tried either, what were the results?

I used supplements and wraps. It wasn't magic but since I did the work and boosted it I look like I did 14 years ago before my first pregnancy. I was so happy to see it even lifted my chest too.

What's your diet like? Diet plays a bigger role in weight loss than working out dose..

I'm literally just hiding it by wearing undergarments to hold me in.

It depends on your body shape and your body's ability to put on muscle. You may never get "abs", some people don't have the ability to put muscle on in that area. Your body shape determines where you gain weight, if you gain in your stomach, then you have adjust your overall eating habits and exercise routine so you are burning more calories than you are consuming.

Candy, what kind of wraps did you use?? There are so many out there! Philethia; my sister tried cool sculpting and said she regrets spending the money. She said she could maybe convince herself her stomach was tighter, but didn't feel much had changed.

Diet is a huge factor, soft drinks and salt cause bloat which can make your stomach bigger, I have the same issue with losing weight and it's annoying. If you're doing all you can and have a good diet try the it works wraps. They are temporary, I use one before special events like formals, weddings, etc. Wrap it tight and leave it on as long as possible and follow instructions exactly. It doesntr work for everyone but if it does you could at least have it gone to try dresses and for the wedding.

Diet. Outside of medical issues (hormones /medications/thyroid) everyone can drop the weight.

It has almost nothing to do with your workout and more to do with your food intake.

    Eat less.

That's the long and short of it. Make the most if your calories by eating protein rich foods. Most people find a some form of low carb diet to be successful for them.

I did cool sculpting on my thighs and stomach about 5 years ago. Cost close to $3k. It removed the fat, but the unintended consequences was it left saggy skin. Now when I sit in shorts, my side thighs look like chicken skin. They are full of wrinkles and dents. My stomach skin is very unattractive when sitting. It is several folds. I would just recommend Spanx for the dress and not worry about anything permanent. Your SO loves you for who you are. I have come to accept that now that I'm in my 40's and have had 2 kids, things are just going to look the way they do.

You need to watch your diet. Also I wore Spanx under my dress (you could see the corset through the dress so the the Spanx covered it) and it worked out fine

Cool sculpting gets better results in men than it does women. It also takes several months and can require multiple treatments. While not as invasive as liposuction it is not a quick fix either. Do you drink soft drinks? Giving those up can help. Good luck!

Unless you've had a baby to literally stretch out the skin and muscles in that area, you should be able to do it with diet change & exercise. Since you already go to a gym, talk to a personal trainer there about specifically targeting that area!

I am the exact same way!! I worked out constantly, and "watched" what I ate, but my belly was always there. I ordered the 21 Day Fix for the meal plan, and it turkey has made a difference!! Due to a spinal injury, I haven't been able to work out, but followed the 21 DF meal plan, and even though I'm not exercising, in the first 2 weeks alone, I lost 9 pounds, most from my belly!! It's done wonders!!

I always struggle with my tummy area so my most flattering dress shape is a ball gown- it's cinched at the tiniest part of my waist and then it is poofy so you can't see my lower stomach.

Thank you Anne and Amanda for that insight into coolsculpting. I'll delete that off the list, lol. I dont drink soda, but i'll come back to this post for comments about wrapping before putting the dress on. Awesome suggestion! Thank you ladies!

Amanda I used It Works Wraps. They tighten, tone and firm up the skin. That with Thermofit to boost metabolism and Greens to detox. Size 7 to size 0 in a couple months. After my C-section and Hysterectomy I thought I would never have a flat tummy again. I am overall 100 times healthier and making better choices for my life now. I wore my wrap 45 minutes, before on top after below.

    eta timeline
