Bench seating

Hi, McKayla! I've seen tons of wooden bench seating arrangements- what's worrying you about it?

Rustic or smooth? A friend had rustic benches at her outdoor wedding last year and I was constantly afraid of shifting and running my hose or worse getting a splinter. If they are polished benches I don’t see an issue

It could be an issue for your older guests if they do not have backs to them. I am in my 20s and I hate having to sit on any sort of chair for a long period of time that doesnt have a back that I can rest against. Any of your older guest, or guests with back problems will be uncomfortable.

How long will your ceremony be? You could always buy cushions or pillows, or rent them if you are concerned? Or have a few padded chairs for older or disabled guests?

The length of ceremony doesn't concern me..usually they're pretty short and our elders aren't that old. It's the reliability of benches on grass because we are having the ceremony in the grass by a woodsy area.

The only issue we had was family that sat in the front row where h family was supposed to sit.
