Best all-inclusive honeymoon for $3,000 or less?

Heather, on January 30, 2015 at 3:52 PM Posted in Honeymoon 1 26

Hi, we have a budget of about $3,000 for our June 21-June 27 honeymoon and have been comparing options for all-inclusive resorts, cruises, etc. Did anyone have a 6-7 day trip in this price range that they were really happy with and would be willing to share the details?

We are definitely looking for somewhere beachy and warm, and are most looking forward to getting massages and relaxing in and around water with some drinks -- but some activities like snorkeling and hiking would be fun, too.

Thanks for any ideas!

We're not doing a honeymoon, nor have I travelled much of anywhere, so my advice may not be great. Smiley smile However I saw some really good deals around $3000 to Jamaica that were all-inclusive and seemed super nice. Try Expedia, BookIt and those type of places to see what kind of deals are on there. I was looking at Expedia before and was pretty impressed with what I saw.

Dominican Republic is notoriously cheap, and beautiful!

Cuba is also super cheap...if you live in Canada. Mexico is also a cheap option.

You should definitely be able to find something in your price range at that time of year! That is the slooooow time in resorts because it's so nice out in Canada/USA.

My friends and I went to DR this past December. It was awesome! All inclusive for 3 of us who booked together through Expedia was $2400.

    YES!!!! http://www.hawaii-all-inclusive.net/ AND http://www.unforgettablehoneymoons.com/Hawaii-Honeymoon-Packages_6.html

We are booking off of either of those sites....just haven't finalized plans yet. Our budget is about $3500 as well for 7 days. Perfect options for ya but might depend on where you are flying from.

I was basically looking for the same thing. I found a couple deals on groupon to cancun and DR. Also check out cheap Caribbean.com. They have packages and deals to Mexico and several other island that same time for about the same price. Also the groupon included airfare. Let me know how you make out!!

Its off season for the Caribbean that time of year so pricing will go down. We're going a cruise to the Western Caribbean...it was $2300 total for the both of us with a balcony suite...definitely a lot less with an inner cabin or ocean view. It leaves out of Puerto Rico and airfare only cost another $800....so $3100 for the two of us, not including the extras we are tagging on

We paid $4300 to an all-inclusive but that included a two tier room upgrade and our roundtrip flights. The base level rooms were $2400 for the week. And this was at the Hard Rock which is pretty expensive. You can find lots of all-inclusives for less. I definitely recommend Mexico. It was so beautiful and fun.

Mexico is a good option! We are staying at Playacar Palace (beach front and all inclusive), in the Riviera Maya for 12 days. Including flights it was 5,700. We booked through Costco Travel. They have some great vacation packages!

We're going on a 7 day cruise in the Caribbean, $1900 for the trip. I'm sure with some excursions and alcohol we'll be at 3K. It's my first cruise so i'm excited. My FH loves cruises and we've never been on one together

We did Costa Rica! Spent 9 days there. Flight included, it cost us just over $3,000.

One night in the capital, three at the base of a volcano (in a rain forest!) and five at an all inclusive beach resort! It was amazing.

There is an All Inclusive Costa Rica rain forest package that has everything you want with customized adjustable pricing to fit your budget. Costa Rica is out of the hurricane zones:, which is good to so since you will be going during the hurricane season. There you can still enjoy the tropics that time of year! ***.*****************************@*****.***.

    Have fun!

We are staying at the Secrets Silversands in Riviera Maya, Mexico for 8 days/7 nights - it's adults only, all-inclusive and Mexico has lots of excursions!! With airfare, transfers, taxes and gratuity it's $3,338 but we upgraded our room to a swim-out so with a basic room and less days I'm sure you'd be under budget! I highly recommend using a travel agent, they don't cost you anything to use and have so much insider expertise! They'll be able to find you a great trip under budget.

We're staying 7 days 6 nights in Punta Cana for $3300 but that includes an upgrade to the adult only areas, a room with a swim up pool, insurance, and round trip fare to and from the airport. I've always booked through Cheap Caribbean and have never had any issues. Jamaica was slightly more when we went for a wedding but well worth it

I've been to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Montego Bay (Jamaica), Costa Rica and Riviera Maya (Mexico) all with FH. We paid under 3k for the both of us for all of these trips. Check out cheapcaribbean.com.

We are going to the Valentin Imperial Maya in Riviera Maya for 7 days 6 nights for $3200. The price includes airfare, a room upgrade, airport transfers and full coverage travelers insurance. If we hadn't of gotten the room upgrade it would have been about $3000 even. Mexico is a great place to go for everything you are describing!
