Brittany, on July 13, 2015 at 4:59 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 13

Hello Bride-to-Be's, Newly Weds & Wives!!

I am looking for the best ALL INCLUSIVE Honeymoon resorts! Sandals? Beaches? Palace? ahhh the list goes on! Smiley smile However, my FH and I want to avoid the Caribbean. We were looking at Italy, Figi, etc.. (this is where you come in, lol) somewhere very romantic! A once in a life time kind of place. Again.. all inclusive Smiley smile T.I.A.

It sounds like you should really speak to a travel agent. I met with mine locally, but she works with couples all over the country and knows everything about honeymoons. Ellen at boutiquetravel.net .

She set us up with our all-inclusive stay at the Qamea Resort in Fiji. I'm SO excited! It's not quite the same as the typical all-inclusive, though; the meals are included, but it's not all you can eat, and there are only 17 rooms there, so it's pretty exclusive. A bunch of activities are included, and we'll basically only be paying for drinks while we're there -- but it's still pretty pricey. Again, I suggest you speak to a travel agent so they can point you in the right direction.

Sandals and Beaches resorts are only in the Caribbean. Palace Resorts has great AI resorts in Mexico, they have great resort credit program too and their food is relish!! Caribbean and Mexico host most of the All Inclusive resorts. Outside of the Caribbean you will find mostly find resorts with European plans and Breakfast included type resorts. Tahiti has two or three beautiful AI resorts, but depending on your location the flights are very longgggggggg. Feel free to DM me with any specific questions.

Have you considered a cruise? My husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise for our honeymoon. There are a lot of other options as well like the Mediterranean, Galapagos, etc. The amazing food was all inclusive and we had a free beverage package, so all the booze was included as well. We added in shore excursions before we went (helicopter ride to a glacier, sleddog ride, whale watching boat trip, etc.). We absolutely loved it. Definitely a once in a lifetime type of trip!

I don't think you will find all-inclusive resorts in places like Italy lol. I would also recommend talking with a travel agent! There is no fee to use their services and my agent was AWESOME. He gave us such personalized service, and extra perks Smiley smile On top of that, he was really able to help us narrow down our options and give recommendations based on what we were looking for, and answer all my questions.

Excellence is 100% the best all inclusive.

Europe doesn't have true all inclusive resorts, but Mexico and the Caribbean do.

I heard Namale the Fiji Islands Resort & Spa in Figi is all-inclusive. I've never had luck with travel agents - they usually charge more and I've gotten better deals through the resorts therefore we don't even bother anymore.

We went to the Yucatan Princess All Suites Resort. It's adults only, which is a huge bonus. You also have access to both of the family resorts on either side - Sunset and Riviera. We loved it so much, we're going back for our one year anniversary. The food is not four star restaurant, but I'd give it a three. Plus, we had and will have the Platinum upgrade, which includes premium cocktails. Total cost last year was $2000 for both of us for six nights. This year it's $2300, but we have direct flights. Also last year we were there during the "soft opening," this year the resort is fully open and more established. It gets amazing reviews for a reason. It's in Mexico, in the Caribbean. Total downside for you, I admit. If you want to search around, use www.bookit.com. They have the best pricing I can find on the internet.

Have you considered Costa Rica? It is possibly one of the most romantic places on earth. A tropical paradise, not far from home. We have an All Inclusive in the Manual Antonio Beach area. We have helped many couples over the years design there dream honeymoon., All of our packages are individually customized to fit you needs, because we only take one couple at a time.

Many consider Costa RIca to be a once in a lifetime experience. You have such variety with the Rain Forest, Beach, and Adventure Tours of all sorts. The beauty and privacy make it a top choice for honeymooners!

We are happy to answer any questions that you may have, Just click on the picture (top left), to reach us.

Honestly I have been disappointed with all inclusives. These tend to exclude the top shelf alcohols and you have to eat at the resort the whole time. Lame if you are a foodie like me and you enjoy exploring. If you budget carefully you may find that all inclusives aren't the best deals out there. It depends where you are from but I recommend going to Hawaii, New Zealand, cancun or Costa Rica. Europe is also great but can add up in cost. Also i would avoid cruises because you are on a ship a lot of the time and the ships are so bad for the environment.

I know e.x.a.c.t.l.y what you mean Brittny! Tha is why we started this package. We are "foodies" ourselves, and real;y appreciate good food. So we do not have cafeterias or anything like that. We take only one couple at a time and give them our fabulous private Chefs, who cooks everything according to their choosing. As for alcohol, everything is unlimited with us, and we stock exactly the brands they request (as long as it is available in Costa Rica, which most of them are). No one seemed to be doing this. So we thought it would be great to give people something unique that was all about them alone. We love Foodie People!

Costa Rica is a great country for them also, because there are so many new and different tropical fruits and vegetables here that most people have never even heard of. Personally, I get tired of eating the same old food all the time, don't you.? It is fun to experience new flavors. CR is abundant is in fresh organic food which helps as well.

They have an expression here that describes their life style.

It is called Pura Vida, and it means "Pure Life"!

@brittny we hear you! A lot of couples don't realize how much of a difference there can be between the offerings and limitations at an all-inclusive resort. This is why we created our Foodiemoons Collection! We know there are a lot of foodies who really want to try an all-inclusive, but don't want to have to suffer thru a week of bad dining. You can learn more about our Foodiemoons Collection here!
