Best Bulk Flower Website?

SamsOldLady, on July 30, 2016 at 2:26 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 16

For anyone who has ordered flowers in bulk online or knows someone who has. Which site would you recommend? I can't decided between Costco, Sam's Club, and Blooms By The Box. If you ordered from any of those sites how was the quality? Or is there another site that you ordered from that you liked? I'm not hiring a florist because I only need flowers for my bouquet and the centerpieces'. I tried searching this topic and everything I found was from 3+years ago.

My friend ordered from globalrose.com and they arrived couple days before the wedding and bloomed perfectly on her wedding day! I'm planning to order mine through them.

Sams is one I've personally known friends that have ordered in bulk for weddings and they were very pleased.

I used fifty flowers and had a good experience. The flowers were really long-lived. I think it really comes down to looking at what types of flowers you want and then figuring out which websites have those for a reasonable price. I liked that fifty flowers had some variety packs.

Try to find local wholesalers as well. We went that route and got a great deal.

I really like Costco flowers! They came neatly packaged and bloomed in time for my friend's wedding.

I have seen a lot of women mention Sams Club flowers as well.

Bloominous and The Bouqs are two different ones that I have looked into. I will likely order from one of them for my flowers. They get really good reviews!

I used Sam's and was very happy with the results. I ordered a bouquet package and white flower bouquets, spider mums and alstroemeria. They all came on Thursday before my Saturday wedding and looked great the day of. I just put them in buckets and followed the packaging directions.

Shop around and price what you are looking for. I have looked at Sam's, Costco, Global Rose and Kroger Out of all of them, price per stem of babys breath was cheapest at Global Rose with $0.84/stem then Costco with $0.89/ stem. Good luck!

Just ordered mine from Globalrose.com. I ordered their Simple Wedding Combo DIY roses with Alstroemeria and filler. They'll be here on the 14th, can't wait!

I used Sam's Club (and one of my good friends did as well) and we were pleased with the flowers. They were excellent quality and lasted until the wedding. The only mistake I made was ordering regular sunflowers instead of mini-ones - the regular ones were huge! I had a Saturday wedding and had them delivered Wednesday, and used that day to dethorn, cut stems, and put in water. I made the arrangements on Thursday and then just changed the water out on Friday to keep them fresh. There are a few different methods you can use to keep them fresh, too, that you can google (vinegar and sugar is one method, vodka is another).

Thank you everyone for your responses! I think what I'm going to end up doing is ordering certain flowers from a few different sites. Because some are cheaper than others but more expensive on a different type. Or you can only get a few type of flowers on a some websites but others have a lot more options. Thank you so much for the Globalrose suggestion, I had not heard of that site yet! Thank you again ladies!!
