Best group photo sharing site/platform?

Alabaster, on August 25, 2014 at 12:33 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 6

Hi Ladies,

I need a good site where multiple guests can log on and upload photos they took at the wedding (but without them being able to delete any one else's photos -- I have vain friends that would totally do that if they see a photo of them they don't like Smiley smile) To ensure each guest can't delete other user's photos, I guess I need a site that each user needs to log in to separately? Or maybe that's making things too difficult and I should just have one log in for everyone to use? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

WedPics - that's what DH and I used for our wedding. U have to be an admin to be able to delete pics or to edit pic comments. It even allows u to post short clips... We had over 200pics uploaded by guest.

You could make a snapfish album (www.snapfish.com) - upload all of the photos and email out the link to everyone you want to share with and don't require them to log-in to view the photos.

Our wedding is using weddingparty. everyone can upload pics and view them on an app on their phone or weddingparty website.

I created an event page on shutterfly. I was going to do dropbox or wedpics, but I'm most familiar with (as are my friends) using shutterfly and it doesn't have quantity limits. Maybe it's just me, but I've run into that with dropbox. I also didn't want people to have to download an app like wedpics. The main friends that will take/share pictures already use shutterfly so it was the best option for us.

Psst - WedSocial on WeddingWire Smiley smile. It's linked to your Wedding Website & comes in app form for your guests! Guests also cannot delete photos they don't like!
