Best guest experiences

Lat year we attended a garden party wedding. I was hesitant, because all I could think about was being hot (Florida) and being bored (1 p.m. wedding) OMG I was so so wrong on both accounts! It was small - maybe 50 people max - and at a botanical garden with tons of shade. They had small fans set up as well, so the heat was never an issue. I think what I enjoyed the most was the uniqueness of the event. Small finger sandwiches, artful floral decor and such a ... delicateness about the whole event. I was looking around waiting for the forest fairies to appear. LOLOL Guests were encouraged to tour the gardens, and they had some selfie stations set up near the more picturesque areas (small tripods for your phone camera) It wasn't a long event, which kept the "boredom" possibility to the minimum.
