Although we're going on a cruise and it's not our honeymoon yet, I highly recommend Carnival.... they have excellent packages.

I think it will depend on what you’re looking for.
Carnival is more of a value party line while Royal Caribbean is more active (things to do on the ship). Princess is more older people so I’d assume more chill (I haven’t been on this line) and Disney will be more family oriented.
Virgin has a cruise line now and it’s adults only and seems very indulgent. Each balcony has hammock swings. They seem reasonably priced. We were not fans of Norwegian. Food, service, and activities were lacking for us. But some people like that line because it can be more inclusive. So deals include the drink package (which was so nice to have!). I think your best bet would be to determine where you want to go, budget, and what you expect from the ship/vacation. Then, go from there. If you’ve never cruised before I’d suggest a shorter cruise to start with to see how you respond to being on the ship. It would be horrible to get sea sick and be stuck for a full week or more.

As PP said, first figure out your budget and where you want to go. I've been on Holland America (Alaska), Princess (Carribean), Disney (Mexico), Norwegian (Baltic and Mediterranean), and Celebrity (Greece). Celebrity, both cruise line and itinerary, was by far my most favorite and then Norwegian. Both cruise lines include drink package and 2 specialty restaurants. Celebrity is more upscale while Norwegian is more casual.

We are frequent cruisers, and are totally loyal to Celebrity Cruises. The food and service is outstanding, the entertainment is varied for all different tastes (hot disco to quiet strings in lounges)

I STRONGLY recommend using a travel agent - YOU DO NOT PAY MORE!! Actually, they can find you special packages much easier than you can on your own. Our travel agent is awesome and amazing - Vacations by Cheryl. She added us to one of her group bookings (2023) 9 day French Riviera and Italy ....... we have a sky suite, on board credit, drink, wifi and gratuity package.... all for a little over $5000 total. (no air fare)

We are going on a Carnival cruise to the Western Caribbean in September. My husband’s coworkers go on cruises several times a year, and highly recommended the one we selected.
