Best man but no bridal party.

Corina, on November 11, 2020 at 3:21 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 6
Hey guys! My man and I are having a small/intimate wedding (primarily family). He has his best man (and that’s all he wants) but I don’t want/have any ladies to be in my bridal party. I’m completely okay with this and am planning most of the wedding with the groom and our moms. What I need help with is: I didn’t know how the procession would go. Tips on etiquette would be greatly appreciated.

The best man could walk down the aisle alone, or he could enter from the side and be standing by the altar (or be seated in the front row) while the rest of the processional occurs.

Typically only the women enter via the processional. Groom and his attendants enter with the officiant.

As long as you have legal witnesses to sign the certificate, you're good to go.

Also, the officiant is my father (has license) so he will he probably be with me.

You could have the best man already standing up there with the groom

During my wedding, I had 3 bridesmaids, technically one of them was a best woman, but that didnt happen until later. I had each girl walk down separately and I think it looked fine.

Agree- the best man can be waiting with the groom at the alter.
