Best Markers for Canvas Guestbook

I have a canvas as well and we are using sharpie fine point paint pens in silver and gold (it's a black canvas). I tested one and it worked great! They will need to be prepped before hand (you have to shake them real good and hold the tip down for a second or two to get the paint to start flowing out of the tip) and we plan to buy a lot of extras just in case the dry up or some are defective (which is common with paint pens) but we bought them at Walmart for like $3 so not a big deal.

I didn't try regular sharpies so I don't know the difference in quality between the two. I would buy a couple of different options and write something really small on the back of the canvas (I tested the paint pens by writing our wedding date on the back) and see what works best.

I like using these paint markers on canvas and other kinds of fabrics because the colors do not run. When I use these pens to draw on a canvas, the ink stays where I want it to. They do not bleed too much into the fibers.
