Best place to purchase: Sola Wood Flowers (canada)

Happy Hedgie, on January 11, 2018 at 8:11 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 19

I'm looking to purchase Sola Wood Flowers to use in wedding DIY projects and to create my own bouquets. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on the best place to purchase them that will ship to Canada. I would like to purchase them loose (in bulk).

Also, any advice or pictures from people who have used Sola flowers in their wedding would be appreciated.

Thank you. Do you have personal experience with them? Where the flowers a good quality?

Also, do you know if they ship to Canada?

I dont have personal experience with them. I got my flowers from a shop on Etsy. The shop was WeddingbyBillie. There are a lot of shops on that site that will ship to Canada.

I added my picture of flowers.

All of your bouquets are so lovely. Thanks for the recommendations for sellers of pre-made bouquets but, I'm looking for loose flowers so I can design my own. I'm making bouquets for myself, my MOH, our moms, 4 bouts, plus floral garland for the sweetheart table, a flower wreath for decor and flower monograms. I need A LOT of flowers!

Hi, fellow Canadian *waves*. I found solaflowers.ca but, they only sell pre-made bouquets.

Would you be able to send me the name of the shop near you? I'll try contacting them.

Thanks. Small world! They are local to me too. Smiley smile

Unfortunately, she only sells pre-made pieces, not individual flowers.

I’ve ordered loose flowers from solawoodflowers.com. I’m not sure if they ship to Canada though.

I’ve bought single and dozen packages and they are beautiful!!! I’ve also bought the wholesale 50 and 100 bags. Some of them come damaged, misshaped, or marked from being made of wood. They are pretty, just not as nice of quantity as the other ones. I also bought my own dye, but haven’t gotten to put anything together.

Thanks, that is where I'm considering ordering from. I've emailed the company to ask about shipping to Canada and am hopeful.

Glad to hear you had a good experience. I'll keep that in mind when considering ordering the wholesale bags. I think I'm going to order a mix of natural and dyed from them. I don't want to deal with the hassle of dyeing them all myself. If I'm feeling brave I may try painting a few by hand with watercolor and see how that turns out.

Sorry, does who customize what? Most of the sellers listed here offer custom bouquets I believe.
