best place/site for bulk votive candles?

Bailey, on September 7, 2015 at 5:52 PM Posted in Planning 2 19

Struggling to find the best deal on bulk votive candles with glass holders. Every site seems to be near the same and when I find a good deal, shipping kills me. I need a lot of candles. 300 . Let me know where you found yours! I have amazon prime but they actually don't seem to have a lot of options.

Thanks!

I've seen some brides on here recommend quickcandles.com. Also, maybe check out ikea. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90108360/

I'd suggest making a small purchase first. Make sure they light, don't smoke, make sure that they last as long as advertised, etc...

Not all candles are good candles....don't go for a bargain and find out the reason why at your wedding...

We got a 16 pack of clear votive glass holders from Michael's and used a coupon for only $4. Was the cheapest and bought the candles from Walmart for under 2 bucks.

Yummi Candles online sells them for cheap. I think its lots of 72 with holders (clear and white candle) for like $20 if on sale. With shipping I think it was like $36. looks like they are on sale now.

I found a decent deal at WalMart, believe it or not. They are just plain unscented, and was about $2.80 for a pack of 12-16 votives.

I got my votive holders and electric votives (venue won't allow real candles) from someone on craigslist. Like 75 holders and like 98 electric candles for $50ish. I try looking on craigslist for wedding supplies once a week.

We live about 3 hours from the nearest IKEA so shipping was going to be huge. I ended up going with yummicandles. Got 360 votive candles with holders (came in sets of 72 with glass and candle for $20 each) for $150 including shipping. Best deal I found by far! Thanks for all the suggestions!
