Best Push Up Cup Inserts?

Natalie, on April 1, 2016 at 5:07 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

Hey ladies, I am trying to figure out the best kind of push up cups to buy so that the seamstress can sew the cups into my dress. I tried the strapless bombshell bra from VS, but it just wasn't working well. I have viewed some bra inserts online, however I wanted a second opinion for those who purchased some before. Please and thank you!

I am just leaving this to my seamstress since she's the professional. She just had a bunch in her inventory. I've only had one fitting so far and she tried a couple of different options on me (I'm flat as a pancake), but told me I didn't have to decide right then. Have another fitting next week - am am excited to see the dress de-poofed and shortened for me.

Good seamstresses will do this for you. The normally have a wide range in their inventory and will fit you depending on cup size, dress style, and what you are looking for (adding a cup, push up, coverage...)

Well she had some, but to be honest, they really weren't doing much for me, which is why I am looking to purchase them elsewhere and then have her just sew them in.

I'm no help, my seamstress just put in what they had there. Have you tried using push up cups AND padded cups? I tried one, then the other, and didn't really like the look until I had both in! And it wasn't over-the-top, surprisingly! Even my mom agreed, haha.

I had normal inserts put in but I also wore a chicken cutlet looking sticky bra. Omg, so glad I got that weird bra last minute. Made my Bs pop beautifully!

I got a pair at Joanns for a costume one year and they were perfect. Easy to sew in and maybe $15?
