Best Secrets resort and why? Like Akumal, Cap Cana, Maroma etc.

I loved Akumal but we also love the town of Akumal. It is farther away from Playa if you wanted to do a lot of shopping though.

We got engaged at Secrets The Vine in Cancun. It was amazing! He took me there because of the wine selection (which I loved), but I loved it because it wasn't as "spring break-y" as I expected Cancun to be.

Interesting to hear. I heard the Vine was very up and down instead of resort like. The building belonged in NYC. Not in Mexico. Did you feel that way?

Akumal looks great. Tough on with Moroma down road. Which I read was best in Secrets chain

It's definitely the tallest building in the area, but it didn't bother me. I haven't done a lot of all-inclusive resort traveling, though.

That being said, I've spent quite a bit of time in New York, and it definitely didn't feel like that!

We're going to Cap Cana in November, which we're super excited about. It hasn't been open a year yet but have heard they're getting a lot of the kinks out and it's becoming a stellar resort.
