Best sites for booking honeymoon

Futuremrseslinger, on July 27, 2015 at 3:42 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 11

Has anyone booked theirs yet? We should have a while ago but haven't. Anyone have any online sites they recommend?

I really like Expedia. For flights I do a search on google/kayak to see which airlines are the cheapest. If you're in Canada, I found that Air Canada Vacation packages are actually a fairly good deal (or it was for booking at Sandals).

Definitely go to a travel agent.. it's free and they are way more likely to be able to get you upgrades that you won't find on travel sights. Also- transfers aren't typically included when booking through some sights- so those can really add up!

Congratulations, LadyMonk, on your upcoming marriage. If you want personal service, someone who really cares about you and your honeymoon, please use a travel agent! Our services are free and we can help you plan everything from beginning to end. We're here to answer your questions and you won't have to wait on hold with a call center for 2 hours to get answers!

We often get exclusive deals and promotions, and we work with travel suppliers who ONLY work with travel agents - so some of the best deals out there you may miss because as a consumer you won't have access to them.

Please check out my storefront and contact me if you'd like personalized, top-notch service from someone who cares!

We booked direct on the Sandals website and compared costs with booking sites like Expedia, priceline, etc. Booking direct from the site was cheapest so that's what we went with.

Travel agents helped us a lot. We almost did a Groupon but couldn't find anything on the dates we could go.

I used the Weddingvibe service and the woman that set it up for me has been AWESOME. She emailed me a bunch of info, then I asked for more specific things, she emailed me back super quick with exactly what I was looking for. Every time I've had a random question about plane tickets, passports, name changes, etc., I've just sent her an email and she gets right back to me.

I highly recommend using them! (and it's FREE!)

I agree with my colleague Honeymoon Helper use a travel agent. I find its crazy when people book themselves. Agents are free. Great example the other night client leaving for Cabo and their ride could not take them. I said leave your car at the airport. I had them booked in minutes at my favorite parking location with valet. I probably attend 5 training a week. I always look for clients who want to be treated like a Celebrity. If you want to do it yourself you can it just won't be as good as what a travel agent can do.

We used Travelocity. For our HM, it was $300 PER PERSON cheaper than Priceline.
