Best small details at a wedding?

The biggest detail for me would have been an outdoor floor or carpet under the tent. It had rained the day before so everything was muddy and gross. It was not fun to walk in with a floor length dress and heels.

Not a small detail, but if you're self catering, buy way more water than you think you need. The last thing you want to do is run out of water for your guests.

Put your guest book where people can actually see it. I realized after a friend’s wedding recently that I never signed, and I know she definitely had one. I just never found it. It’s not a huge deal, but as a guest I felt bad later for not signing. And as a soon-to-be bride I want to have that to remember who all was in attendance!
