It really depends what you want to do. Beach? Outdoors? Adventure? Hiking? History? The US is massive and there really is something for everyone

We love it all! We are huge outdoorsy people! We love hiking but would also love an area not to far away from a beach! A place with history would also be a plus .

In this case I would recommend Charleston, SC pr Savannah, GA. They’re both beautiful cities, steeped in history, close to the beach and offer outdoor activities.

I will ALWAYS recommend Bar Harbor Maine. Acadia National park is about 10 minutes away if you are into hiking or just in general sight seeing, you are right near the ocean, fantastic food(that’s always my biggest push), plus you can always explore the rest of Mount Desert Island.

Chicago or Seattle or Oregon are all very interesting places to visit. We did the train from Los Angeles to Seattle which was also a great trip. Oregon has the most beautiful scenery and it's near beaches. Chicago is a great big city with museums and great food and the lake to see. It's also got some great shops. You could go in to Canada as well if you wanted to. Banff is beautiful and has lots of amazing scenery and cabins with log fire places and Lake Louise and Calgary are both close. We went to Banff for a white Christmas and it was just spectacular .

New Orleans is a great place to visit. The food and culture there is amazing. You can take a boat ride along the Mississippi River to see a ton of historical things. I love it there.

We are going to Portland, Oregon. We chose this because FFIL won't make it to the wedding because he is elderly. My FH wants to see his dad and he lives right outside of Portland. So, instead of doing a honeymoon and taking that trip we decided to make that trip our honeymoon.

How long did you stay? We were thinking of staying a week.

When are you planning on going? My fiancé and I live In Clearwater Florida and are going to Napa/Calistoga/San Francisco in May and we cannot wait!!!

I just had a look and I want to go to Bar Harbor as well now . It looks beautiful and a great place to honeymoon. As I live in Australia I don't think I'll get there very soon though but I hope you all enjoy it when or if you go

I recommend louisiana - new orleans is dope! i feel like it's a nice blend of historical, things to do, nightlife, etc

If you love shopping, go for New York or California. If you want glamour, try Vegas, if you are looking for adventure, try the Yellowstone, Colorado etc. For beach lovers, Florida is going to be a great choice.

My favorite place in the world is Sedona, Arizona! It is beautiful and romantic. You can go to the Grand Canyon from there as well
