my daughter is recently engaged, and we're about to start the planning.. Guest list will be at least 250. Looking for a huge dance floor! any suggestions will be appreciated... thanks !

@ Ceila... just looked up your friend, she did officiate at the wedding I was at and it was beautiful! Will deff contact her as soon as they confirm the date and venue. And @gymrat... we're heading out tomorrow again, saw some beautiful places but dance floors weren't as big as we would like them to be.

The biggest dance floor I've seen is at Oheka Castle. The wedding had over 300 guests.

Keep in mind that although your (or your child's) guest list will be 250, it doesn't mean 250 will come.

Hi Chris!

There are showcases next week Monday at Chateau Briand, Tuesday at Stonebridge and Thursday at East Wind. I'll be at all 3 so stop by and say "Hi!" if you attend any of them. I like the showcases because you get to sample the food. But back to the dance floor question... The space on the dance floor is directly related to how many tables you put into it. For your needs, IMO, it would be better to book a room with a higher minimum occupancy and have more room to dance. If you pay for an extra plate or two, you can always have them wrap it.
