Best way to address rsvp envelopes?

FutureMrsB, on March 21, 2018 at 3:48 PM Posted in Planning 0 24

I plan to hand write all of the addresses on the main envelope of the wedding invitation, but has anyone used any quick ways to address your own address on an RSVP envelope? We have a ton of wedding themed address return labels of our own address.... but I don't know if it's even possible to use that as the sending address. I have no problem writing my own address out on 100 RSVP envelopes, just curious what others have done. TIA!

Some people are anti-label, but I just used clear labels with our names and address on it for all the RSVP envelopes.

We plan to use Avery address labels like we did for save the dates. They were really easy to do and you can print them at home.

I ordered printed ones through Vistaprint - they were pretty cheap. You could also use an ink stamp.

We're just using clear labels for the guest addresses and I bought some from vista print that matches our invitations with our address on them.

We ordered a stamp with our names and address for our STDs and used it on the RSVP cards for the invites.

I have a cricut so I addressed all of mine that way. They looked hand written without me actually having to sit down and write them all. Lol

Is it appropriate (or even just accepted in the mailing world lol) to use "return address labels" as the main "sending to" address on an envelope?

I got mine through Costco and they pre-printed the address on the RSVP envelope. I used clear labels for my STDs and invites and I think they are perfectly fine.

I bought address labels for the RSVP cards and I will address my invitations with my Cricut. It has some gorgeous fonts and I thought that might be kind of fun!

When I ordered our invitations, they had free printed rsvp envelopes. So, I don’t have to worry about it. But if I didn’t have that, I’d probably write them all out.

I got a nice custom stamp on etsy. Used it for the return address on STDs, the address on the RSVP envelop, and will probably use it at the return address on thank you notes too. It's really pretty and made it super fast!

We printed our address on them through our own printer. It was super easy. FH stood at the printer to keep feeding each envelope in and I kept hitting print. Took maybe 20 minutes for 80.

You can use return address labels as address labels as long as they are placed correctly.

I ordered our invitations from Vistaprint and had them do it. You can also use Avery labels or go on Avery’s website, pick out the labels you want and have them print your address on the labels and mail them to you.

I have an aunt who, for some reason, cuts out the return address label that I put on cards and stuff, and tapes it to the front of envelopes she sends me. So it works. An RSVP envelope is usually small, so a return address label would probably look fine if that's what you're worried about.

For save the dates and wedding invitations, I hand wrote the "To" addresses and "From" address was our address label. For RSVP envelope, I just put the label with our address in "To" and left "From" blank.
