Best Website for Wedding rvsp

Hien, on June 8, 2023 at 11:16 AM Posted in Planning 1 9
Hello All,

My name is Hien, and we finally decided on the date for our wedding in August 2024. There are still a million things needed us to settle, so that is why we are giving ourself 14 months to plan.
Our question is what is the best website for RVSP? I would like to have a QR code, a dot com domain if possible and user friendly.
Any inputs/recommendations would be highly appreciated!
Bests,Hien

I've only been using this site for that. So far so good. Wedding is in 99 days.

I prefer theknot for wedding website over wedding wire. A little more user friendly and customizable.

Personally, I've been using withjoy.com. It allows me to easily customize, and keep track of my RSVP count. While allowing me to add important tags to certain guests. (Ex. certain allergies) You can extract the guest list if you need it. And view guests by relations (i.e. bride's family/groom's family) Lastly, it gives feedback on how far guests have completed their RSVPs (ie 50%).

We ultimately decided against a website based on other friends’ experiences with their guests not making any effort to read theirs (including some who did digital invites only that were assumed to be save the dates) and our guests being super traditional with preferring paper invites and inserts regardless of being tech savvy millennials or older generations. But at the beginning of planning, we did did look at rsvpify.com and were more impressed by that service than the mainstream independent website options. If we had gone the digital route for rsvps, we would have used them but had zero issues with guests responding to paper and text rsvps.

Hi, I m not sure what the best site is f for electronic RSVP but i can say by using an online RSVP it saved me so much money because i didn't have to buy many stamps. Mostly everything is done online these days and hardly anybody has the time to go mail something, so this is the best way to not inconvenience anybody lives. when i sent out my wedding invitations, i just sent the response cards with it without stamps and i included our wedding website link for our guests to RSVP.

since I started using wedding wire as my guide, i just created my wedding website with them and it has been a very convenient tool to have. i have to say it took forever to set my wedding website up but i'm sure glad i did. hope this helps

I second withjoy. Along with everything Danielle said, you can also restrict the guest list and password protect it. Guests can only RSVP if their name already exists on your guest list, so they can't add people who aren't invited.

I haven't looked at other sites but I've been engaged twice and used the built in Wedding Wire RSVP option. I have a decent URL with them and used a QR code generator site which I put on my paper RSVPs which people have been using without issues. I like that it's able to help with seating chart and you can export to Excel (I keep a separate file so I don't need it).

Thank you all for your inputs. I have tried WeddingWire and The Knot, so far we like The Knot a little bit better because it is a very user friendly website. As far as RSVP, we are planning on using The Knot, but we will leave our phone number and email on the invitation for folks that is not familiar with computers.

That also is a good idea! We did include our phone number for older Vietnamese folks who aren't familiar with QR codes
