Best & Worst wedding favors?

Best: Mini wine bottles; candy; popcorn

Worst: Heart/key shaped cheap bottle openers

Meh: Everyone got a different mug filled with chocolate covered espresso beans. The beans were delish, but most of the mugs got left on the tables because nobody wanted to carry them around all night (we were forced to pick up all our stuff and move to the bar's dingy basement after dinner so there was a lot of moving around). It was actually a cute favor, but was the most poorly hosted wedding ever, so I resent the fact that they spent quite a bit of money on favors but nothing else.

Worst: koozies, so many koozies.

I went to a wedding that gave out mini jars of jams it was so cute and a great idea!

Last wedding we went to had small cello bags with popcorn kernels with an adhesive label saying something to the effect "He popped the question, thanks for celebrating with us". 90% were left on the table

Best: Anything edible

Worst: Anything with your face on it

I think I would like the shoe bag, then I could use it to pack my shoes in on trips in my suitcase.

The worst was expensive porcelain angel bells for every single person, when their reason for "no kids" was "budget". I called BULLSHIT on that one people, just be FREAKING HONEST!!

Worst was from my own sisters wedding about 25 years ago. It was a little picture frame with her bridal portrait in it. Who wants to put that in their house unless they're an immediate relative (and obligated lol).

Best was anything edible...chocolates, candy bars, popcorn, etc.

We went with cute cookies and most people took them when they left. We only had a few left over.

I've been thinking really hard and I honestly can't remember any of the favors from any wedding I've ever been to.

I'm planning on doing some mints with labels saying "mint to be" on them!

Perfect for after dinner to freshen up!

The worst? A magnet with a photo of the couple and their date on it .. NOT a save the scare.

The best? A McDonald's cheeseburger!

Best: kissing bell - it's the only one I've ever kept (I doubt others like it as much as I do though)

Worst: personalized glasses - these don't even make it into the house, but I always take them to not offend

This is kind of pointless IMO because no one has the same taste. Half the people are like “only edibles!” while the other half say “as long as it’s not food- I have allergies/Crohn’s/IBS.” My favorite would be a little bottle of wine or liquor, but this wouldn’t go over well for someone who doesn’t drink or is a recovering alcoholic...
