Bestie is now excited about my wedding after her engagement

To be clear (didn’t mean to post without finishing… when I was engaged I was surprised that we weren’t all girly and excited together about my planning process. Now that she’s engaged all of a sudden she’s excited about talking about both our wedding stuff. My wedding is in 3 months and her would be in a little over a year. She’s now also doing her wedding the same theme as mine but she never really said she would be interested in doing my theme until after she was engaged. Am I tripping? I feel like at least give me these last 3 months with the excitement I’ve wanted from you all year and focus on me since after my wedding we’ll still have a whole year to focus on you.

Are you close enough be say something like that to her? Sadly, nobody is interested in our wedding plans as much as we are but it’s definitely disappointing she has shown no/little interest until she got engaged.

I’m wondering what you mean by “focus”? Like, what do you think she hasn’t been doing? You’re kind of only getting to the wedding part now. The truth is no-one will ever be as excited about your wedding than you and your FI. It’s nice she’s showing interest now!
