Beverage estimate for approximately 120 guests

Jennifer, on August 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
This is our estimate for our bartender. We removed a few things they had added on such as Whiteclaws and hard cider to save some money. We invited 120 guests and are expecting about 100 or less to actually attend. Does this appear to be enough alcohol for at most 120 guests? If anything, we might add another 1/4 barrel of Two Hearted Ale but we’d rather not if we don’t have to. Just looking for opinions, thank you.Beverage estimate for approximately 120 guests 1

Will you have water other than bottles? If not, that’s only 168 bottles of water- likely not enough for 120 people. The beer is also only about 160 servings between the two 1/4 barrels. Do you have a lot of beer drinkers?

Not enough water. Switch out the 2liters of soda for cans. Much easier to pour and doesn’t go flat the minute you open them. How many guests will be drinking apple cider?

What do your guests drink? Have you asked them if you don’t already know? Every group is different. Some drink beer/wine only and others drink liquor only.

The pop and cider are primarily for mixed drinks. We’re doing a signature cider mule drink so that’s what the cider will be used for. Water will also be served by the caterer I believe.

I am double checking about the water but I believe our caterer will also be serving water through out the evening. Bartender is just required to provide water bottles. Also with the beer that’s why we’re considering adding more of the beer just because I could see a good portion of our guests drinking beer. Thank you!
