View Quoted Comment I have been sending her messages for months asking for the contract. I even went to her place to have her cut my hair. I wanted to meet her before choosing her. I told her that I wanted to book her and she said that was great and marked her calendar. She asked for all of the detailed and said she would send me a co tract shortly. That was 3 months ago. After servers attempts to contact her on her Business page with no response I finally messaged her on her personal Facebook page . And got the response that her mom planned a family thing that she can’t miss, she said she was going to try and have her move it but wasn’t sure...... WTF and when were you planning on telling me this?

It doesn't sound like she's used to doing weddings honestly. I would try to find an actual HMUA that specializes in weddings. They usually come equipped with things like... contracts! And you usually don't have to ask them for one. Where did you find this particular individual to begin with?

View Quoted Comment Maybe also instead of trying to contact the next one via social media/the internet for three months, stop by a week or two after the trial if they dont have a contract on them during the trial (which any serious business professional should). It's too easy to ignore someone via the internet.

Wow this is so upsetting. I’m sorry this happened to you. This is why it’s so important to invest in a good quality hair and makeup artist. (Not saying you didn’t)But I’ve heard this a lot and it’s usually when people decide to spend the least on hair and makeup.
