big wedding after court house covid Wedding??

Alejandra, on April 12, 2021 at 1:47 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 1 3

Hello beautiful people,

Due to some health issues and my husbands insurance needing us to be married we had covid court house wedding this past January.

We had initially planned our big OFFICIAL wedding to be Feb 2022 we have our venue, dress, bridesmaids & groomsmen all lined up.

Thing is should we have a small ceremony?

A "remarriage", we didn't get to experience this & our family knows we are married but no one was able to experience it.

Specially our parents who I think deserve this as well.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Yes! Definitely do the ceremony if you want it. That's what we're doing. Long story short, some concerns regarding my mother-in-law's health led us to doing a quickly thrown together wedding for just our immediate family, though some of them weren't able to make it due to the short notice. We are doing a ceremony, vow renewal, whatever you want to call it for those who weren't there followed by a reception. Especially if you're parents weren't there, you should do it again. Everyone knows and understands your circumstances. All 9f our friends and family are looking forward to it as will yours.

Absolutely if that’s what you want. I bet your friends & family would love to see your ceremony.

Go for it!! Tons of covid couples are planning a vow renewal so that they can still share that ceremony experience with their family & friends! 💕
