Love the Biltmore--for a day or two.

We also like Grandfather Mountain and Hanging Rock State Park Smiley smile

Were planning on 4 days so I'm hoping between the estate and the rest of the city we can occupy ourselves!

Our current plan is to rent a cabin for 4 nights and finish out our honeymoon at the biltmore for a night! It's still up in the air though.

Also you will most likely be staying at the inn. I've tried booking at the hotel for our dates (14-16) and they're booked up on the website.

I love the Biltmore!! North Carolina in general is absolutely beautiful. I'd love to visit there again (I'm from San Diego, Ca).

I live about two hours from the Biltmore. You'll love it! The grounds are gorgeous this time of year.

I do agree with PP about Biltmore being great for a couple of days. I would also look into the Omni Grove Park Inn, it is absolutely beautiful and they have a wonderful spa. Asheville is fantastic though, I live about 45 minutes away.

We're staying at the Inn for 4 days for our honeymoon. The Dale Chihuly exhibit is there, plus we like to do some brewery tours and stuff
