Birthday Weekend and Bachelorette Weekend

Angel, on June 2, 2021 at 10:22 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 10

I usually do a HUGE celebration for my birthday weekend. This year, I have decided to do my bachelorette party the same weekend. How do I incorporate the two?

I think we need some more information. Are you wanting to go away for the weekend? Do you want to celebrate both in same night? How many people are you thinking? Usually Bachelorettes are for those in wedding party and hosted by a BM. You can't expect them to host your birthday at same time. Maybe you can have your Bachelorette on a Saturday night and then host your birthday celebration with a Sunday brunch where you can have other guests as well?

I would just have a cake with candles during your bachelorette celebration

I’d have the bachelorette weekend as planned and in your birthday celebrate your birthday as you normally would.

Both are next month and we're going to Dallas. The guestlist is the same as it would be for my birthday. I'm looking for ideas on how to incorporate the two, not whether ir not I should. Its easier to do so. Also, I'm "ghost" hosting it.

My husband and I originally planned this for his 30th. We rented an Air B&B at Atlantic City for the weekend and invited all of the bridal party as well as a few extras. Unfortunately this was June 2020 and because of Covid everything was shut down and we had to cancel.

Our plans were to obviously go to the beach, do a birthday dinner, hit the casino as well as a few other activities. As mentioned above, you could do a birthday cake. Also birthday shots are always fun (if you drink). I wish we could've combined my husbands birthday with our co-ed shower I know it would've been soooo fun!

I'm doing the same for my 31st birthday on 4th of July weekend. Its me and my bridal party. We rented an Airbnb in Orlando, we're setting up bachelorette decorations, and have booked a bunch of activities. We're putting that I'm the Birthday Bride on our windshield and I'm just basking in both events lol. I'm not sure how to incorporate the two other than acknowledging both things. I have a birthday sash and a bachelorette/bride sash. I'm having a birthday cake. If we go out, we're mentioning that its my bachelorette party. Just making it special.

There’s a superrrrr cute restaurant that’s PERFECT for this occasion! It’s called XOXO and it’s literally so cute and boujee and the building is PINK! You could also do one of those party bikes around Dallas where you all pedal and drink! Those are really fun!
