Black Brides with Natural Hair...how are you wearing your hair the day of?

I am not black but my girlfriend with natural hair had finger waves done and she was beautiful.

I can totally relate with you on how hard it is to find natural hair inspo. For me, it was a struggle because I change my hairstyle alot. Most of what I was coming across I've worn plenty of times or hair was clearly added and (not that there's anything wrong with this but) it wasn't the route I wanted to go. I'm going to slightly blow out my hair, do wand curls, and comb it out a little for volume. If you want to stay away from heat, you can try a wash and go or twist out (whichever gives you better curls) and do an updo, like a pineapple.

Here's an example of the pineapple hair style. Also, try looking at Pinterest and search for "natural hair bride". There's a good amount of boards that come up.

My hair gets frizzy in a heartbeat so I'm going to have to weave it up. I wore my hair curled for my brother's wedding last month and it rained all day prior to the ceremony. My hair lasted about 10 minutes and then I looked crazy for the rest of the night lol. I definitely don't want that to happen on my wedding day!

Are you against using any heat? My BFF is natural and she did small curls. But she had just did the big chop then. My other friend did faux locs crotchets and styled in an updo. There are many options. Have you looked in Pinterest?

Thanks soooo much everyone! I clearly need to start all of my searches with pinterest and not google! lol.

I am going to get a frontal and weave sewn in. We plan on going to DR. I definitely don't want my hair to become frizzy and puff up especially after I get into the water. It has a great natural look, if you get someone to sew it in correctly.
