Black owned wedding vendors

Hey y’all!

I recently got engaged and have started the planning process. I’d love to use as many black owned vendors as possible but I’ve been having an extremely hard time locating any in the Chicago/Northern Illinois area. I’ve search munaluchi bridal and a few other sites but their lists are sparse. I’d love any ideas/suggestions.

Munaluchi Bridal is the only website I’m aware of I'm afraid.

You could also check out the WeddingWire vendor directory, follow through to the vendors website and read the ‘About Us’ section. This may be quite a tedious process, however, it may help

Are you planning on hiring a wedding planner? If not, it may be something to consider to help you find vendors you wish to work with if you keep having difficulty.

Thanks! I’ve searched on their website and unfortunately they don’t have a lot of vendor options. I’ll look into working with a planner.
