    Thank you! Our venue is a reproduction Medieval castle hall - so we are decorating it like the Great Hall!

    FH wanted black tie, but persuaded him to do just formal considering my family doesn't just own black tie attire like his family supposedly does. Plus tuxes and those kinds of dresses are not cheap.

    We are having a pretty formal event, so went with Black Tie for the reception. Technically the wedding can't be black tie since it's at 2:30 in church, but my fam likes to show out, so I am excited to see what everyone wears!

    We're doing a bit more formal. I would say it's the nicer side of cocktail attire. Our service is black tie (valet, gloved butler service, open bar, etc.). We didn't want a stuffy vibe, but we wanted to host our guests well.

    I want all our guests to be comfortable, so cocktail attire for guests, but more formal for the wedding party.

    It will be an afternoon wedding so cocktail attire will suffice. I have no preference just as long as I don't see jeans, tshirt or sneakers.
