I'm looking at this one... my hair is natural but its naturally straight but very thin. So obviously I'm going to need to get a weave to achieve this, but I think this is GORGEOUS! I've been looking at Pinterest for inspiration or Google African American Bridal Hairstyles

I’ve been checking out Pinterest and even on Instagram check the tag blackbride and you should be able to find some hair inspo pics. My sister wore her like the first picture for her wedding last year. I’m thinking of doing mine like the second picture. Not really sure yet because the back of my dress is gorgeous and I may need to wear my hair up.

I’ve been considering a twisted protective style like Spring Twists: something that’s flexible enough to be styled to the side like weave hair but natural enough that it looks like my own. I’m especially thinking about transitioning to the honeymoon right after. Like these in black:

That's good. Who can you get to come to your getting ready location? My hairdresser is a salon owner and would never to be able to come to me and leave her shop on a Sat morning. I am absolutely opposed to going to a salon the morning of my wedding. Too many timeline snafus.

My current stylist is the owner of the salon I go to and when she is booked for weddings she changes up her schedule for the day so that she can meet at the bride's location. However, I go to her every two weeks in the early morning. The day of my wedding will be one of my regular standing appointment dates. I plan to go to her in the morning to get my hair prepped. She is going to come to my location later in the day to do my hair. My planner will work out the timeline with her. Also, it is just me. I don't have any bridal party so I am not expecting any snafus.
