If your partner asked you to block someone on social media for the sake of your marriage would you do it? Why or why not?

It's always a good idea to try to see someone else's perspective.

His best friend is a girl. I would not tell him he could not be friends with her. Cause she liked his pictures on FB.

I would, because I'm sure there would be a good reason to. I don't see these things as control or the whole "I'm my own person I do what I want", I see it as having respect for your partner and making them comfortable. Communication is key in situations like these, I definitely think you should discuss things and get the other to understand why you want something done and how it makes you feel.

I'd also have a serious convo with him about it. I understand it could be maybe he's uncomfortable and I'd just ask if there's anything else I could also do to reassure him

I understand, however, I think you are minimizing the situation.

I completely agree with you. If someone or something was jeopardizing my marriage I'd let it go.

My fiancé is a very logical person and respects my privacy, if he requests something like that it would be for a good reason, so I would most likely block that person.

My husband is the same way so I would give him that respect.

I couldn't care less who likes my pictures or whatever and neither does my husband. I don't even think he looks at my social media, haha! If someone were making comments that were inappropriate I would have the presence of mind to delete them myself. If my husband were jealous of normal comments that were not inappropriate, that's something for him to work on. If my husband were harping on this, it would be something to discuss. I wouldn't just do it because he wanted me to. Blocking someone on Social media is a minor thing, but what's next?

If my FH asked me to do that, he would have a real reason for it and I would absolutely do it, without question.

Yes because I respect his feelings, and I hope he would do the same for me.
