Bloominous vs. Enjoy Flowers vs. Costco

Margaret, on February 7, 2019 at 6:30 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 6
Hey Everyone,

First time poster here Smiley smile My wedding is on July 20 and I am on a tight budget. So far I have been EXTREMELY lucky and got great deals on my venue , dress, photographer, and caterer, but I am not sure what to do about my flowers.

Basically, I love the style of the bohemian/cascading/eucalyptus-y bouquets and the flower garland centerpieces, but quotes from florists are more than my catering and venue combined! So I am looking into online wholesalers for my flowers. Has anyone had experience with Bloominous, Kukka, Enjoy flowers, etc? The designs look great, but are they too good to be true? I am leaning towards Enjoy Flowers. Although they have good reviews but most of them seem to be from people who’s weddings have not happened yet? Isn’t that strange?

Even the order “minimums” from these “pre-arranged”/designed places seem a little high, so I am also looking into Costco/Sams Goods. But i am curious to hear if other brides thought the last minute hustle of arranging these florals was worth the money saved?

thanks guys!

I haven’t gotten married yet but I’m leaning towards getting my flowers from Costco and just making the bouquets/arrangements myself. All of the quotes I’ve received from florist are more then my venue cost.

An idea to save money, you can rent flowers. Look at Something borrowed for flowers!

Same here Lauren! I think that is what I will end up doing. Bloominous was a high minimum $$ order and Enjoy Flowers hasn’t returned my requests for more info. I will check out Bouqs.com, but will most likely go with Costco - they are the only ones who have garlands at a decent price!

    Thanks Chelsey,

I hadn’t heard of this!! I love this idea, but I would be nervous about the guest who catches the bouquet or guests taking a centerpiece home with them....

    Did you rent your flowers?
