Blush vs Rose Gold

Aaliyah, on June 10, 2018 at 4:17 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 6
HELP!!! My wedding colors are ivory, rose gold, and rose red. I would like to start ordering pieces for a table mock up. The site I’m ordering from only has some items in rose gold and other items in blush. Would you say the two are about the same? I have added pictures to compare. Btw the theme is Summer Romance, so there will be a lot of greenery as well!

I always thought blush was more pastel vs rose gold being just a bit darker than pink blush--both are pretty colors though.

Rose gold is a metallic. Blush is a cross of pale pink and beige. They are not the same at all.

Rose gold is a metallic copper like color. Blush is more of a barely there to light pink. I am doing the same colors except my red is a darker red some would call marsala or burgundy depending on the shade. I do understand the struggle in find things with rose gold as there are certain places that have things in rose gold and some do not. I was working on my table mock up too but things I could not find in rose gold I had to just spray paint.

Hi Aaliyah! The two colors differ in that blush has copper hints while blush has more pastel accents. However, I think they will pair together nicely! Have you been able to gather your items for the mock up? I would love to know! Fill me in!

They are not the same because I am starting to realize the difference. I have Muave in my wedding colors. They are all shades of pink. Blush is the lightest- more springy, rose gold is about 2 shades darker and has kind of a shimmer to it, And mauve is like a dark rose gold minus the shimmer. Muave and rose gold make great fall colors.

I've noticed many vendors have different interpretations of these colors but in the end they work well into the color schemes
