Blusher veil worn as a veil by itself?

Grace, on May 22, 2021 at 3:02 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 2
I am wearing a cathedral length veil with an additional blusher veil to cover my face for the ceremony. I need to take my cathedral length veil off for the ceremony, but I would still like to wear a veil for the reception... would it be possible/would it look weird to wear the blusher veil as a regular veil for the reception?

It's going to depend on how long the blusher is and how it attaches and hangs, so you're really going to have to look at it (I think). FWIW - I wore my mom's cathedral length three layer veil, the top layer of which is a blusher, and all the layers were sewn to one another.

If you decide the blusher won't work on its own, you *could* get an inexpensive fingertip (or some other moderate length) veil to "change into" for the reception

Hi Grace! Like Becky said, it will depend on the construction!!

If your blusher is a separate piece from your cathedral veil then you could certainly where it on it's own for the reception!
