Blush/gold vs rose gold

I can always DIY and custom order somethings. I guess my question is whether you regret picking a uncommon colorway or was it worth the extra effort to have something different. (I know rose gold is far from original but what I mean is that it isn't sold everywhere)

My shoes just arrived today, so I now feel comfortable saying that if you want rose gold shoes, Shoes of Prey has a very beautiful rose gold leather (and they're super comfortable).

ETA: I agree CuteNickname. One of the vendors said that sometimes you have to use copper to get the rose gold feel. Complementary shades can be really lovely.

@DeNigris2Be2017 I've come across that too. Rose Gold is pretty vague so sometimes it's copper or just metallic pink with no gold undertones at all. I guess I'll just have to buy things online that have a good return policy if I don't like it in person.

@catlady5x I'm pretty sure I know the votives you're talking about and that is gonna look awesome! BHLDN has such lovely choices, I have a feeling that I'll be shopping there long after my wedding lol.

@CuteNickname I'm with ya, style rules are meant to be broken. I mostly just want the stationary cake and tabletop decor to all match my rose gold ring so now I'm just hoping I can find an identical shade of ink, foil, paint and cake frosting.

@FitzwilliamDarcy thanks for the recommendation. What a cool concept for custom shoes?! I think I'd like to order a pair of the flats to see the color in person first. Did you choose the Blush Nude color?

MrsCtoBe, If you go to the metallic color swatches (think it is one of the last squares), I got the rose gold shiny soft leather (and added silk details in a blush nude). But they have so many options for colors!

I wanted to do rose gold initially, especially for my own accessories since my wedding band will be rose gold. But the only headpiece I fell in love with was more of a champagne gold so I'm mixing metals there. I'm okay with that since my e-ring is white gold and my set with my mixed.

I wanted copper decor but I ended up with yellow gold terrariums and have no desire to spray paint something that has glass I can't remove. So decor is now going to be yellow gold to go with the terrariums.

I wanted rose gold as my accent metallic for our colors (navy, blush, burgundy, and cream), but I'm finding this will be difficult. My reception shoes are rose gold, and I had originally wanted my centerpieces to have rose gold and then have a rose gold clothe or table runner for either the sweetheart table or the cake table. However, my florist has told me she's having difficulty finding rose gold for the flowers, so now I'm trying to figure out if I want to mix metallics or not.

@LauraR so basically I just need to give myself some wiggle room with these shades. I'm hoping that it is still do-able!

This is one of the centerpiece photos I showed the florist, except I wanted rose gold bowls instead. Now though it seems like there's going to be a bit of a mix, with the frames for the table numbers in either yellow gold (matching the bowls) or silver (to stand out), my jewelry and other small things in rose gold and silver, etc. Not sure yet though since I had wanted it to be more consistent.
