Are you splurging or saving on booze?

Saving for sure. We'll have a limited bar with rum and coke, vodka and cranberry, 2 beer kegs (two choices) and sparkling wine on each table. That's it. May not seem limited but if it were to be compared with other events in our families, it's definitely a smaller selection, and we're cool with that.

Definitely saved! We went w/a local brewery for our beer, and we're friends with the owner. We ended up getting our liquor through a family friend who only charged us $10/bottle - all top-shelf! As far as wine, we did end up splurging a bit for nicer bottles but overall ended up saving big-time with our alcohol!

SAVE! We will not be having any alchohol past the champagne toast which comes included. The non-alchoholic drink bar does too.

I'd love to do an open bar, but it's just not in the budget. We'll be saving and providing just wine and beer.

Splurge. Again, most people talk about food after the wedding, part of that being the drinks. We are having an adult only wedding, so we really have to think about that. Our venue does not have an outside space, but there is plenty of delicious food and top-shelf liquor.

Save save save. I am not necessarily anti-alcohol, as I do indulge myself every now and then, but I am definitely against everyone drinking on my tab as I am a bride whom is paying for the wedding out of pocket... So not to be snippy, I did include 1 hour of alcohol with the package, but that's it. LOL.

Splurge. We are having an open bar all night long. But it will be beer and wine only, as us nor our friends and family are big liquor drinkers. We have 3 wine selections and 2 beer selections. Having an open bar was one of our top priorities.

Well, FH's parents are covering this. We are just doing champagne, wine, and beer. So save compared to those doing liquor, but splurge compared to those who are having a dry wedding. Haha.

Saving by not doing open bar all night, but our venue charges per glass which makes it more expensive

We would have splurged, alcohol is big on both sides, in the end the ones who drank was my husbands parents..and it was just us, and both sets of parents. It was budget friendly...they did drink WAY too much, though.

Splurge. Again food and drinks are a big thing for us so we splurged and went top shelf and champagne toast for everyone.
