Both Parents Walking Me Down Aisle

My former roommate did this and her pics were lovely

So ever since I was a little girl I always imagined both of my parents walking with me. I definitely plan on doing this but I was concerned about photos as well. I did a little research. And I figure my dad will be waiting for my mother & I half way, my mother will “give” me to my father and I’ll have my brother escort my mother to her seat. Then My father will escort me to the alter. I figure I have a few more me months to really buckle down and plan this more thoroughly! But for now this is what I’ve come up with.

You should worry if she's walking down with you and dad. It's more and more common nowadays , especially for 2 reasons:
1- Having dad only is sometimes seen as patriachal and sexist.
2- As you said "my mom is one of my best friends": many brides thinks the same way and don't want their mom to feel they mean less to you.
Your pics and video(if you're having one) with both parents walking you down will be even more beautiful and their emotional face as you're hugging them and "leaving them" to join your fiance will be priceless.
