**Not sure if this is the right form but it is "advice" so I'm going with it**

For those of you who are on the fence about doing a boudoir photoshoot I just want to say go for it! My photographer just sent me a single sneak peek because my gallery will be released to me at 6PM tonight and let me just say I am already in love! I can not wait to see the rest. It was way out of my comfort zone but also so much fun! I did mine for my FH as a wedding gift, but more than that I did it for myself, and let me just say confident boost! I can't wait to give it to him in November 🥰

    It was way out of my comfort zone but honestly I'm happy I did it. I don't have any children yet so this will be a way to look back years from now and see how I looked in my 20s

    I thought about doing it because I think those very old photos of wives just wearing their veil are so beautiful but I don’t think I’d be comfortable in front of a camera like that. I’m pretty shy and prude in public.

    I am the same way but I decided to step out of my comfort zone and just go for it. I had a all female team from photographers to the person doing the edits and putting together the photo book, so that made me feel comfortable and the photographers set the mood just right between the music they played to the poses I did. If you find a photographer you are comfortable with you will have an amazing experience

    Ahh I don’t even like using changing rooms. I deeply admire boudoir shoots though! I’m thinking about doing a “trash the dress” shoot instead(not actually damaging it because I’m wearing it again). I want to feel glamorous and a bit fierce!
    Maybe “boudoir lite” lol like a sexy dress I wouldn’t normally wear. Your photo is so brave though.

    Highly recommend it! It was an experience I am glad I had. If it wasn't for getting married I don't think I would have ever done this

    I'm thinking about doing this for my FH. I have heard it's such a great experience. I feel like I would need a drink or two to calm my nerves! lol How did you go about finding a photographer you were comfortable with in such an intimate setting?

    Lots of research! I looked at their style and read every review they had and then made a decision. I looked into 3 different studios hardcore before deciding

    I am 41 and had two kids. I do however can still get away with wearing a bikini, so I think I can probably still do this without it looking totally ridiculous. LOL. Looking into it now.

    My wedding is in November too! I hope my fiancé likes the book I made. I put it in a locked box and I’m going to give him the box before the wedding and the key after. Either way I won’t regret it because I love my photos.
