Thanks @Kayla! It really is the photographer, she's amazing and told me where to turn and how to twist my body so that everything look good. They loved that I wanted to wear a crazy wig for my second shoot.

I'd love to do a shoot like this, but I can't really justify spending the money on it I have a ton of photographer friends, but most i wouldn't feel comfortable around. Sometimes it's nicer doing them with someone you don't know and won't see again.

But really- very nice.

@Shellie, I know what you mean. I'd ask my photographer but she is also my daycare certifier, so that would be REALLY awkward. He'll have to go without

@Shellie and Kayla... I wouldn't have done it if I didn't find a groupon deal thingy. I had been saving up a little extra money to do one if I found a photographer at the right price.

And I totally agree with both of you, It's nice to do the shoot with someone you don't know. and everyone that works at the studio is a woman.

BUT, actually, even if I did--FH would NEVER EVER approve. Not even for a woman photographer. He's very sensitive about things like that.

Aw @Crisanda, you're sweet, and I know you'd look hot doing a shoot like this. I can also understand if guys are sensitive about other folks seeing their ladies.

I love them...especially with the wig

Thanks @WWChristina! Luckily I've done shows (burlesque and tango cabaret) that required me to wear corsets and fishnets in front of 100s of people.

This was actually pretty relaxing, they had wine for me and let me choose whatever music I wanted to listed to for the shoots. The photographer also let me be as silly as I needed to be. She caught some funny ones of me too (i,e. me making the Dr. Evil face and pretending to be a snarling tiger... haha) Of course, I didn't choose those for my final photos, but they were still funny to see.

Thanks @Rebecca! I loved the wig too... it only got annoying outside when the wind was blowing, it kept getting stuck in my face, though for this photo it worked out ok:

Thanks @Elisa and @Marie... you two are so sweet, I'm definitely not a model.. You should see the other 2000 photos they took to get the ~300 I got to keep, ugh I make the strangest faces most of the time, one eye blinking, weird smile... hahahah.

@Marie I really do love the one with my hair all messy, it was an unexpectedly great shot. I think in general the one's you're not "trying to hard" to catch end up the best.
