Boudoir Tomorrow! Share Your Fav Poses I should Try! (NSFW)

You are going to have a blast!! I LOVED when I did my shoot, I gave my pics to FH for our "dating anniversary" (yes, I'm corny and like to celebrate that. haha) last year and I had so much fun! I would show you my pics, but I'm not posting them here. lol This pic was the inspiration for one of my favorite pictures!

Awesome, thanks! I like that one! I just realized, oh crap. I wear glasses and I haven't seen any boudoir done with glasses. Do I wear my glasses or take them off?! I can see it both ways. With them: that's who I am and I wear them daily. Without them: I always take them off during sex, anyways. So maybe having them off, just makes it have the more intimate feeling. Idk. I booked so far in advanced that I never thought about things. Now I'm rushing!

Glasses can be hott as hell! Take some pics with them, and some without! Use them as a prop!! An example...

Is this a shoot that you'll eventually show to FH?? If so, I would highly recommend this shot... It's obviously not for everyone, but I know my FH would LOVE it.

I am totally following this thread as I have my boudoir shoot in August.

Are there any brides that are on the heavier side that have done their boudoir shoot? any recommendations? I am 5'1" 150lbs. and I am just very reluctant at this point if I should go through with it.

Mrs2Be - I'm not doing stockings because I hate how they look on my legs. I'll bring them along, but I probably won't use them.

Miriam - By all means. Go ahead. Keep an eye out in the next couple weeks when I post my pictures. I'm about 5'3" and 165 pounds.

I don't want to share any photos. But one of my favorite poses was taken in a door way with back lighting. I also took several with my veil on, where I was on the the bed on my knees and the photographer was behind be. Definitely highlighted my butt. My biggest advice trust your photographer. I mostly went with what she suggested as she does this all the time, and mine turned out great.

Natalie - I know exactly what you are talking about! I have that pose pinned on my Pinterest board. They obviously will do what they feel at the time, but request a pinterest board so that they can see where the person wants the shoot to go. Some are more playful girls, some are more shy and want more reserved photos. So it is just for a base to go off of.

I also will be getting my hair and makeup done fully in the beginning, and then having a slight change to hair and makeup mid way through. I was thinking go straight hair with less dramatic makeup (since I have long black hair). FH (and myself) love when my hair is straight, since it's normally curly and frizzy. Then, we can switch to more dramatic makeup and large bouncy curls. I'll have to ask the hair and makeup person if that sounds good.

I suggest a few detail shots of body parts you or FH like. One of my favorites from my shoot is a detail shot of my legs in stockings and high heels. Another one of my favorites is a pic from the back of me applying lipstick in a mirror.

Following! I need ideas for mine too I'm also tossing around the idea of doing a pin-up inspired shoot.

@Shamay: Mine will be pin-up. I found this photographer who specializes in pin-up/boudoir. FH loves when I dress 40s-60s attire. So I figured I would do pin-up. :-)

Also following! My shoot is next month. I have to wear thigh-highs to mine....they're more pinup pics.

I think my favorite pose has been anything with butt high heels!

I just google image searched "pin up poses" to find some of my poses without sharing my pics, and the results were ridiculously awesome. Try it!

I like basically all legs in air poses and just about all kneeling and lying down poses.

@Pancakes I know you won't wear stockings, but can you have a pic of you standing up with one leg on a chair, and kind of adjusting/hooking up a garter? I like those ones, but I couldn't find an example

This is a friend of mine that is also a bit bigger (she let me post it if I block her face), and I loved that photo. She's kind of looking down so you can see her eye makeup and she looks really sweet.

And I do like that pic. I was thinking of bringing some of my fake lilies with me, that I will be using for our flowers at the wedding.
