Bouquet toss fail

Margarita, on December 25, 2017 at 3:22 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 15
I just want to share a funny story of the one thing that went wrong at my wedding this weekend, and it was the last thing I expected to go wrong, the bouquet toss!

First attempt- bouquet hit the chandelier, cane down and hit me in the face (I wasn’t really hurt but lol)

second attempt- bouquet went wayyy past the single ladies

third attempt- went side ways, was brought to me by a little girl (guest)

i allowef little girl to keep the bouquet because I didn’t even want to attempt a fourth throw lol! But I made her night, it was so cute Smiley smile

other than that, my wedding was perfect. At least it’s a funny story

I didn’t toss my bouquet this time, but I tossed it at my first wedding and it hit the ceiling and whacked one of my BMs in the face. They definitely don’t warn you about how dangerous tossing flowers can be. Lol

I caught the bouquet at a wedding last year only because it was going to slam me in the face. Then I ran off because I had to fix my strapless dress. Lol

It could be worse. You know how at the end of Jewish ceremonies, they break the glass? I think our glass must have had some steel embedded in it. We tried it together. NotFroofy tried it on her own. My son (the dude of honor) tried it. The rabbi tried it. Just as I was thinking that throwing it out the window might be the only way of breaking it, NotFroofy finally managed to hit it just the right way and break it.

I'm probably not going to have a toss Smiley smile

That's hilarious! So glad we skipped the toss I'd probably have killed someone with my bouquet.

I surprised my mom telling her I didn't want a bouquet or garter toss she wasn't happy. Thankfully the florist we were talking to came to my rescue told her about the anniversary dance idea and I said that's what I wanted to do instead. I don't want FHs hands up my dress in front of everyone. Plus 95% of the single ladies are under 18.

That's the kind of "going wrong" that will give you something to look back and smile about, I love it!

I think what could top that is the groom passing out when he sees the bride.
