Bouquet Toss! Your bouquet or a "toss" bouquet?

Christine, on September 22, 2015 at 7:00 PM Posted in Community Conversations 1 20

My florist offers a separate toss bouquet, I guess some people like to hold on to their bouquets. Since it's a DW for us it doesn't make sense, but I'm curious to know what yall are doing.

I'm not planning a bouquet toss, but if I was I'd do a separate toss bouquet. I want to keep my bouquet - not sure what I'll do with it, but I want to keep it! Haha.

I went to Hobby Lobby and made my own bouquet. It was beautiful. Maybe I can put it on here and show you

Haha, mine is included for free as well, DEF wouldn't pay for an extra. And since we don't want it she's making it into a small arrangement for somewhere else in the reception instead.

My florist included it with the cost of our flowers. It was simple with just colorful roses.

My florist is giving me a tossing bouquet. I would not throw mine. It's expensive.

My florist includes it in our package. IDK what I'm going to do with my actual bridal bouquet but I couldn't imagine tossing it lol

We have hints of superheroes popping up throughout the day. I'm making Batman themed garter belts, so I'm going to make this Wonder Woman themed tossing bouquet.

Yeah part of me does wish I could keep it, between sentimentality and cost, haha. I'm thinking of trying to preserve a single flower from it somehow, figure that't be easier to fly and travel with.

My mom did all my flowers. Honestly, we forgot to do a toss bouquet until the last minute but then we decided not to worry about it and just skip the toss altogether. We had a very small guest list and had planned to get a gift card or some kind of prize so that everyone would participate in the toss and not just single women (in which case it would have been only about 2 people) but again, slipped our minds until the day before and decided it wasn't worth the fuss. If we had done a toss I 100% would have wanted a toss bouquet. I'm not planning on preserving my flowers because in my mind there is enough from a wedding that gets saved that I don't need to try to hold onto flowers but I did want to enjoy them in a vase for a few days and then when they die I am going to put them in my backyard to decompose so they sort of stay in the yard in a way. This is our forever home so I think it's a nice sentiment.

We asked the florist to throw in a toss bouquet at no cost to go with our floral package. My bridal bouquet is going to cost around $150, I'm not giving that away to anyone lol. I'm not sure exactly what I will do with it yet, but I definitely want to keep it after the wedding.

I tossed mine cause I *loved* it, and did NOT want to stress about drying it or mounting it or in any way trying to preserve it. So I tossed it to let a good friend enjoy it and SHE can fuss about what to do with it. Smiley sexy

I am getting a toss bouquet but because we are getting married in Mexico, the cost is substantially less than here in the U.S. Plus my bouquet will be heavy! I would knock someone out with that sucker.

My florist made a toss bouquet but in the end I think I just grabbed one of the BM bouquets. It's sad with the bridal bouquet because unless you are really willing to shell out money to get it preserved, they don't look that great dried. I did like looking at it for the couple of days between the wedding and the honeymoon though.

I used my real one, didn't plan on preserving it so may as well toss it! It was fun.

I have a brooch bouquet so if I throw that I would probably kill someone. I'm having a small toss bouquet made by my florist.
