Bouquets vs Corsages for bridesmaids

One advantage of a bouquet for bridesmaids is to give your girls something to do with their hands. Many people feel uncomfortable just leaving their hands at their sides when nervous and standing and may start to fidget. Think about giving presentations in school or at work. I would suggest having them carry a single flower, lantern, hoop, etc instead of a corsage just for that reason.

I was thinking of alternatives as well but decided on bouquets and then using them at my sweet heart table. So once they’re done holding them during the ceremony we’ll place them at my fiancé’s and my table.

Having bouquets gives them something to do with their hands. Especially if any are nervous standing in front of crowds of strangers. Their comfort is worth more than saving a few dollars.

We love Lings Moments! We’re doing corsages for the moms and smaller bouquets for the bridesmaids so they have something to hold in their hands. Even asking them to hold their hands together would be a bit uncomfortable. Look at Etsy for similar color bouquets!
