I'm totally into the idea of trying to do this with as little pressure for "interventions" as possible.. with being overweight I know the doctors tend to push for a cesarean... I'd LOVE to avoid that after watching my sister go through the hell of the staples and etc!

Thanks for the review Heather! Good to hear it helped you. Just today I was watching a woman on that TLC "birth day" show using hypnobirthing for a VBAC after a pretty traumatic first birth where she "desperately begged for the epidural" and yes she wasn't quite as oddly silent as women in this video but she did it very relaxed and just fine with no meds at all and was happy she went with hypnobirthing. Also just an FYI overall for anyone considering this method, it's not JUST for natural births...it can help you a lot even if you're planning on having the epidural or if you have to have an induction or c-section. It really gives women the choices

Haha, I love the MAN saying "they aren't pains they are contractions" F U! I believe in there is no gold star for going through labor with no meds. Labor is easier for some women and killer for others. I don't think there is any process that makes the pain bearable. With 3 older sisters and watching A Baby Story every day I would say that out of 100 women who attempt to go med free, maybe 3 actually do it.
