I know many of you are mothers and I would love your opinions.
Today DH and I had our anatomy scan. We aren't finding out so to us it was just another ultrasound. The tech took all the measurements needed (I didn't realize that they measured EVERYTHING). The ultrasound goes on for about 50 minutes and then the tech says "ok let me just see what consult room is open". My heart dropped to the floor. I looked at my DH and said they don't take you into consult rooms to tell you good news. He is trying to reassure me as we walk down the hall. We walk into the room and I see a box of tissues on the table. I look at DH and say "and those aren't tissues for tears of joy." Twenty LONG minutes later a dr I have never met comes in and sits down. She introduces herself as the high risk doctor.
