branch centerpieces

am not big on flowers but i am getting married in 8/5/12 and everyone is telling me i need to use flowers on my centerpieces i want tall branches with maybe some lights and a few flowers i need help i dont have a clear vision but i know ot involves candles branchs few flowers help i need ideas

    I took a nice walk around my neighborhood and spotted a few good size branches i can use will be talking to my fh dad today to make sure he can help me make a base and for storage am so excited about this diy project

    @ Kristen yes the lights are battery operated. I got the lights and waterpearls from www.rainbowwaterbeads.com

    The are hard to store. My car was parked in the driveway for a few months!!

    Below is the only pic I have right now. I am hoping some of the pro pics will have them also... this one didnt have the completed project but you can get the idea. THe little flowers are burnt orange. I added more and also put some hydreangeas around the top of the case, and more branches than are in this vase. Excuse the curious 19 month old LOL!!
